Some of you may already know that one of the services I offer is intuitive readings. Some people love them along with all things mystical and magical, while others are skeptical and want nothing to do with the unseen. But I meet a lot of people who position themselves somewhere in between. They are curious but a little nervous to the idea of having someone "read" them.
This post is meant to demystify the whole process and answer the questions I get most frequently.
What are intuitive readings?
Sometimes called "psychic readings", they are a form of energy reading. Everything is made of energy. You, your thoughts, emotions, words, experiences, the people in your life, and so on. Imagine all these things making up your own radio station. When I do a reading, I tune in to your radio station and listen in. I am able to do so because you opened your channel for me to be able to listen in. The more open you are, the easier it will be for me to hear the information.
How does it work?
I conduct my readings via Zoom, although I also give in person readings at events.
During an intuitive reading, I first ask the client if they have any particular questions they want to be answered or if they are seeking general guidance.
I then tap into my client's energy as well as Source energy. Images, words and emotions come to me via my abilities such as clairvoyance, claircognizance, clairaudience, and clairsentience. I like to write down everything that comes until it stops. That's when I tell my client everything I wrote. Sometimes, messages come so fast that I don't even have time to write; in those moments I just give the person information in real time as I'm channeling it.
Why would I have a reading?
In my experience, messages that come through are always what is needed at that time. It might not be what someone expects or what they thought it would be, but my clients have told me that our sessions were healing, and brought them a lot of peace and clarity. I even had a client who told me that 2 days after the reading, the anxiety she had felt in previous years was almost gone, despite us not specifically mentioning her anxiety during the reading. This is the power of working with someone on a soul level.
I am scared of what you'll tell me...
I will never, NEVER EVER, receive or share a message to scare you. This is just not how it works. The messages I give you are for your highest good and potential. They are uplifting, empowering, eye-opening and they bring clarity. If you ever go to a psychic and they tell you scary messages it's either because they are scamming you (fear sells, unfortunately) or because they carry a low vibration and attract low vibration entities that are not there for your highest good. Be careful out there.
Do you channel the dead?
I don't consider myself to be a medium because it doesn't happen every time and it's not what I focus on. However, it does happen that loved ones that crossed over come through in a reading if it's in the best interest of the client, and if they are comfortable and open to the experience.
Do you use cards...or a crystal ball?
Everyone uses the tools they are most comfortable with. Although I got started by doing readings using tarot and oracle cards, I realized that I didn't really need them. Therefore, I usually don't use them. However, if my intuition leads me to a deck, I will ask my client's permission to pull some cards and will do so if they agree. Also, if a client wants me to use the cards, I will (they are so fun!).
Can you predict the future?
No, I do not predict the future and no, I don't have the winning numbers. When clients ask me future-oriented questions, I may have a snapshot or a sense of what is to come, but it's only a possibility and not a certain outcome. I believe that everyone has free will, therefore nothing is set in stone. One seemingly small decision can sometimes have a huge ripple effect on your life. I always give them a warning; I don't tell you what to do, and you should always trust your own intuition to do what's best for you.
